Reviewing Strategy for Students

I had been a student myself and I found out that during our Midterm or Final exams, (exam that involves computations) I just don't know where to start
reviewing because there are just too many topics or chapters that I have to study to prepare for tomorrow's exam.  Normally, when our teachers discussed topics for the whole semester they would make us solve several problems per chapter.  Let us say that in the entire semester your teacher discussed 10 chapters involving computations. And in each chapter, like in accounting, they made you solve 10 problems. All in all that would be 100 problems you had solved for the

entire semester. And now during the finals you no longer know how to go about or where to start reviewing 100 problems to prepare for the finals.

In accounting and even in other studies
that involved computations, I noticed that at the end of every topic,  for example in the topic about Cash,  there will be at least 10 problems that we need to solve to apply whatever the teacher  or the books had discussed about. And if you are going to review on the topic about cash, does that mean that you would also have to solve all these 10 problems again to prepare for an exam? My answer is, no. Because I noticed that in the 10 problems that we had already solved 1 or 2 problems are
comprehensive.  Meaning, all the laws or principles you had learned about Cash will all be used in solving this select problem. So by simply marking these select problems (like an asterisk) when
they were discussed by our teacher in the classroom, you will be guided where to focus your review.  You don't have to review or solve again the other 8 problems because the laws or principles or steps used in solving these simple problems are all used in the select 1 or 2 problems that are more comprehensive.  By reviewing only the select and marked problems you will be refreshed by all the laws and principles you had studied pertaining to Cash or any other subject for that matter.

Following this technique could definitely make your review easier, simpler, and faster. In the future you can go to a Google Review Center with teachers and instructors who could help you make your review as easy and faster as it can be. I hope this article is helpful to you....
